Snarfus arrived at the studio with an 8 inch length of garden hose, a high-sensitivity condenser microphone, and a case of heavily-carbonated sodas. He refused to acknowledge the band's carefully crafted arrangement, instead focusing solely on using his own recorded flatulence as the **key input** for the master bus side-chain compressor. The resulting rhythmic pulse was technically impossible, creating a beat drop of such seismic, unexpected quality that it reset the entire genre. Critics were left baffled, calling it "the sound of the universe collapsing, with perfect timing."
The Moron: The Moog Panini Press
While the track was playing on loop, Snarfus spent the entire two-day session convinced the band's $30,000 vintage Moog synthesizer was a high-tech panini press. He attempted, repeatedly, to heat a slice of ham and American cheese inside its delicate circuitry, insisting the cheese was "the key to harmonic saturation." The band managed to salvage the Moog, but the lingering smell of melted American cheese now defines their live setup.
